My name is Maartje Punt (b. 1989) and I’m a Dutch documentary photographer. I got my first camera as a gift at age twelve and haven’t gone without one ever since. Incredibly fortunate to be able to photograph the world I intend to do so. There’s just so much to see, show, share and tell.

– Graduated at AKI (art academy) in Enschede | Bachelor of Design | Crossmedia Design [For my THESIS about documentary photography I examined the maximum possible objectivity of documentary photography by researching the extent in which conscious choices play a role in the working method of three selected documentary photographers]

I’ve also worked several assignments in photography (i.e. Universiteit Twente) and design (i.e. the cover of Stefany June’s album and the design of a logo for Amnesty International). These are some of the clients I’ve worked for:
